The chair, Drunnhviti, symbolizes a universe, of the North Atlantic harshness and brutality combined with the complexity and simple lines of Greenland.
The chair is packed in sleekly designed packaging. Meaning that the chair can easily be disassembled and stored.
This principle of simplicity permeates the design of the chair all the way to the assembly level, where the chair is assembled without the use of glue, screws or any kind of tools.
Drunnhviti is inspired by a Faroese swallow which stays silent at Sea when it looks for food. Though sings a variety of beautiful tunes when it comes ashore at night to care for its young.
